Pinheiros Altos was originally designed by the American Ronald Fream and borders the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, which provides a habitat for many species of birds and vegetation. Peter McEvoy and Howard Swan later redeveloped it into a highly original and distinctive course, with two sets of nine holes that possess completely opposing characteristics.

Pinheiros Altos provides a real golfing challenge, where brain is infinitely more useful that brawn. The first nine winds its way over and through pine-clad, rolling countryside. The second nine drops down into a valley bottom, where intrusive lakes provide a test of accuracy and skill.

San Lorenzo is one of the most famous golf courses in the Algarve, San Lorenzo is located within the stunning Ria Formosa Estuary and Nature Reserve, and boasts fairways that run alongside saltwater marshes, freshwater lagoons and the cooling Atlantic Ocean. The course is a combination of perfect presentation, amazing scenery and hole after hole of challenging golf.

San Lorenzo lies in the unspoilt Southeast corner of Quinta do Lago, bordering the Ria Formosa Estuary and salt water lagoons. A golf course with beautiful Bermuda grass fairways that provide perfect playing conditions.
